Placing a bet

1. SETUP → pick the game → Auto-build pad. You get a “TEAM TD” button for each team plus buttons for the likeliest TD scorers.
2. FIRE tab → tap a BET amount ($5, $10, …). Every button bets that much per tap.
3. Hold the SAFE switch (top left) until it turns orange: ARMED.
4. Hold a button for half a second to arm it (orange glow), or tap ARM ALL.
5. When it happens on the field, tap the button. The bet goes out the instant your finger touches it. It turns green with what you paid, or red if nothing filled.
6. A button disarms itself after it fires, so you can't double-bet. Hold it again to re-arm.

Tap the switch any time to go back to SAFE; nothing can fire while SAFE.

Reading a button

BROWN TD · 31¢ · $10 · win $22 means: you'd buy “Chase Brown scores a TD: YES” at the current price of 31¢ a share. $10 buys about 32 shares, and each pays $1 if he scores, so $22 profit.

Player buttons always target his next TD: 1+ TDs, then 2+ after he's scored once. An optional 1st-TD-scorer bet stops after the game's first TD; Kalshi only lists “Nth TD scorer” markets for some games, and the app follows them automatically when it does.

TEAM TD buttons buy that team to win the game, paying a few cents over the current price.

Prices & risk

Your bet buys shares at the price shown on the button when you tap. If the price moves against you before the order lands, it pays at most +20% per share (change this in SETUP), so a $10 bet costs at most about $12. Otherwise it doesn't fill. Anything that can't fill instantly is cancelled, and nothing is left sitting on the book.

Each button also has a hard max price per share (85¢ for TD scorers) that is never exceeded. The server refuses any single tap that could cost more than its per-tap limit.

DRY RUN (grey badge) simulates fills against the real order book with no money involved. LIVE (red badge) sends real orders. Switch in SETUP. To measure real latency without betting, go LIVE and use LOG → Run speed test.

Replay reviews can overturn a TD after you've bought. Your max price is the bet that the call stands.
